All My Canine Companions formed a partnership with BARCS, Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Center, and so we will be fostering dogs from this organization from now and on.
Dogs get returned to a shelter because they may have training, but not behavior which includes things such as: no counter surfing, walking properly on leash, letting you eat in peace, and so on. It’s not the dog’s fault, I want to make this clear. They have to learn to live in a home environment in order to learn all these and so my pack and I will be in charge of teaching Avril all she needs to know in order to make her adoption successful.
A little about Avril:
- She loves food and treats. She is about 31lbs
- She sleeps through the night quite peacefully
- She doesn’t seem to have separation anxiety
- If you like petting a dog, she is the one because she loves it!
- She snores in such a cute way. Yes, dogs do snore
That’s all for now. I will continue to post updates on Avril as time goes by. By the way, if you are interested in adopting her, please contact BARCS directly and submit an application. I will only answer questions about her once I get a green light from BARCS. Enjoy your week!
Oh my gosh, could that face be any cuter? In Denver there is a glut of dogs in shelters. I saw the Dumb Friends is not accepting strays because they are too full. Bless you for fostering. I hope Avril finds a ‘fur-ever’ home soon. 💙
Yes, she is so cute. I hope she finds a good home in the near future too. She is an amazing little dog.
She’s definitely adorable. We’ll keep our paw crossed she finds the ‘pawfect’ new home.
Thanks!
