Living With A Pack Of Dogs

on

I usually say that living with a dog is an adventure, emphasis on dog, but let me tell you that living with 3 dogs is an odyssey. Yes people, an odyssey!

Charlie, Zoe and Abby.

By the way, whether you have one dog or multiple dogs, make sure that you are committed to their well being because dogs become part of your life and they are family. Yes, family! And on that note, you know how your uncle irritates you during Thanksgiving because he is loud? Or, how annoying your aunt is asking you very personal questions? Well, your dogs could also get on your nerves, but they are yours and sometimes all you need is a little break from them to recharge your batteries.

These are some of the things I do with my pack in order to live in peace with them: walking, running, training, and being part of a client’s dog rehabilitation.

Having 3 dogs of my own is a new experience, and one thing I learned very fast was that I needed to be more organized and plan my day and activities in advance. You should also work with a dog trainer if you are overwhelmed. Dogs are amazing beings, but we need to do our part so they can shine. Enjoy your weekend and your dogs!

  1. Those are wise words. I totally agree with you. Right now is the first time in 20 years that we have only one dog, and it feels a bit empty but we have Rollo.

20 years? It’s interesting how we get used to certain things, and how weird it feels when things change. Enjoy your Rollo.

      1. Thank you so much Marcela. We are enjoying Rollo but I guess it feels weird without our little Daisy.
