Spring Time – Really?

on

Looks like Spring, but it’s freezing!

This is probably one of the few times I don’t start by writing about dogs, but we’ll get to it. Spring 2024 arrived on March 19th, but I don’t know about you, it feels like winter. When we went out to walk early this morning it was 38 degrees, and that is why I am being sarcastic when I say, “Really?”

Now let’s look at this in a positive way. We had very little snow here in Annapolis, MD this winter and although it was freezing, I didn’t have to shovel snow, but rather the time it snowed we went out and had a good time with our dogs.

All right, all right. It’s not so bad after all, but I did feel like sharing that it is still pretty cold! Keep in mind that my group classes are to start at the end of this week so contact me to sign up. Take care.

    Sorry to hear that.

  2. We’ve had a strange end of winter / spring. 94 degrees in mid February, which was super hot and record for that time of year, and then severe thunderstorms including a tornado after that, and then cold days that come and go in between warmer ones, more thunderstorms and more rain. It’s been a hard few weeks for our mini-Australian Shepherd Rollo. He gets very nervous about noise.

Thomas, I don’t think I should complain about the weather. You had it much worse than us. There are dogs that are very susceptible and are certainly not crazy about thunderstorms. I got lucky this time because none of my 3 dogs seem to be bothered by thunder. I’m sorry your Rollo doesn’t like thunderstorms. Have you tried a dog compression shirt on Rollo?

      1. That’s a good suggestion, Thank you, but we’ve tried it and it didn’t seem to work.
