Right before the 4th came around, I had a list of the things I wanted to accomplish:
- Go Kayaking
- Rent a small boat
- BBQ
- Go to DC
- Write
Do you know what I actually did accomplish during this past holiday? One thing and one thing only, and that was, drum roll please, renting a small boat. We had a wonderful time, but could you believe that that was the only thing on my list that I did? I am a bit baffled by it so my question to you is, has this ever happened to you? Go easy on yourself…lone thing is better than none. 🙂 Happy belated Fourth. Hope it wasn’t too loud and noisy your way. We’re still being bombarded with boomers, night after night despite some big rain and hail storms moving through the area. I wish people would stop with the fireworks–get or watch a drone and be quiet I say. 😈
You certainly know how to make me feel better, thanks! It was amazingly nice and quiet. I’m not a big fan of fireworks because most dogs don’t like all that noise and so I do prefer a peaceful 4th of July. I’m sorry you had to put up with all that racket. Yes, a drone!
