Kitchen: Most Popular Room In Our House

Champagne, “Could I help?”

One thing I’ve realized, and many of you probably would agree with me, is that the kitchen is the most popular and used room in a house.  All of Abby’s friends love to hang out in the kitchen specially when Cynthia is cooking.

Champagne, “I am so tired.”

After Champagne helped Cynthia prepare a delicious meal, she was very tired so she took a nap.  She is probably dreaming about food.

Champagne, “What? Time to eat? Yay!”

How interesting, and funny, that once it was time to eat the above beautiful girl woke up right away.  I think that both, dogs and humans, enjoy hanging out in the kitchen.  What room is the most popular/used in your house?

  1. Wherever the people are there will be the pooches. 😀 when we have a couple of foster dogs it can get pretty crowded in our tiny kitchen.

Hi Mick. Wow! You are a foster parent? That’s wonderful. I know it can get crowded, but dogs certainly a certain something to our lives. Don’t you think?

      1. We have fostered more than 30 dogs since 2008, life could be dull without the pooches. 🙂

Wow! More than 30. You are an amazing person. Thanks for all you do. And yes, life would be dull without pooches:-)

Kitchen is the best seat in the house. Watch for incoming

  3. I agree with you, the kitchen is our place too… maybe the kitchen should be renamed in “real living room”?

    1. Marcela says:

I like the way you think:-)

  4. What a gorgeous ‘helper!’ The room I’m in is ALWAYS the most popular, be it the bathroom, kitchen, living. The key element is I’m there and my two little shadows will be close in tow. 😉 Happy howlidays!

Beautifully put, your two little shadows. Happy holidays to you, your furry kids and family:-)

      1. Very best wishes to you and yours!

        Same to you and yours:-)

Sounds much like Kita. If I’m somewhere else in the house, Kita wants to be there. Unfortunately, our other dog, Chico (an elderly Chihuahua who thinks he’s a younger Rottweiler), doesn’t like Kita.

So, when I’ve had to confine Kita to one room, she will either curl up on the couch or lay on the floor (and watch the door). She knows I’m home before the rest of the family (in that case, she sits at the back door and waits for me).

        Your furry kids sound amazing:-)
