It’s been a couple of months since I last wrote a post because I just didn’t feel inspired to write, and also because a lot of changes were coming my way and I needed to figure out things about life and family, and so I am back!
I believe that we learn more from dogs than they do from us, and one thing I know they remind me about all the time is to be grateful. Yes, whenever things come at you fast, life gets a little too busy, schedules get chaotic and so much more we, humans, tend to forget to be grateful for the amazing things we have in our lives. And that’s when our dogs remind us about being grateful.
Recently, we took a trip to New York without our dogs, and although we had a wonderful time, when we got back home I was really happy to see them, but also grateful to have them be part of our lives.
The holidays are right around the corner and we are going to get busy again, but please remember to stop for a moment, even if that is only a minute, and be grateful for what you have in your life. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones, and what are you grateful for?

Wonderful to have you back!! Yes. I can totally relate to this post. Like you, my life has been a nonstop roller coaster for two months, beginning with Hurricane Helene and then a very sick cat that almost died and a new book coming out. Whew! I give my faith all the credit for saving my sanity. Like you, things are beginning to slow down to a normal pace again for me just as the craziness of the holidays is about to descend. lol!! But looking back, I can see my gratitude was expressed during those hectic days as the time I set aside each day to spend in prayer. It keeps me grounded when life tries to overwhelm. For that I will be eternally grateful. Have a blessed day, and I look forward to more of your posts!! 🩷🐶
