Do Dogs Squint?

Zoe, napping and squinting?

I have met dogs of different sizes, breeds, temperaments, etc., but I have never met a dog that squints, and I think that my Zoe is squinting, isn’t she?

It’s amazing, funny and interesting that every single dog has his/her own quirks, just like us humans. Does your dog do something you find funny, weird or adorable? Enjoy your day!

  1. Yes they all had their quirks. Our Rollo, a mini-Australian Shepherd loves crawling underneath sheets and when he wants a belly rub he lays down in the middle of the room on his side and barks loudly just one time while staring at you. It’s like a command. Our Pug Daisy hated cheese even though every other dog we’ve had loved cheese. She also bit dogs in their ear when they barked too much (well Rollo and Ryu). Our Leonberger Bronco poked you in your chest with his big paw when he wanted attention or food, or slammed his paw in the floor when he wanted to be petted. Our Japanese Chin Ryu loved howling when we came home. It sounded exactly like singing. Our German Shepherd guarded the kitchen and did not allow other dogs to steal and she did not steal either. Our Labrador Baylor was the most skilled stealth food thief I’ve ever seen.

Lol. Your Rollo is certainly a character. Yes, I believe it is a command. Your Daisy was teaching the other dogs manners. Wow! Dogs do have their own quirks, and we love them just the same. They are all amazing in their own ways.

      1. Yes you are so right
