It is extremely hot hear in Annapolis, MD, what about in your neck of the woods? Yesterday the temperature went up to 90 degrees. Could you believe that? And today we are expecting more of the same.
I think the only two places to be right now with this heat is indoors or in the water like my adorable Alex is showing in the picture.
Whatever you decide to do combat this heat, please make sure to hydrate and your dogs, of course, walk early in the morning, no walks in the afternoon, and wear light clothes.

It’s brutal (but worse in some places in the West). I’ve started the countdown to autumn. 70 days until it’s official arrival in case you’re interested. 😉 Stay cool if you can. We think it’s going to be a brutal El Niño year. Sigh.
You are so funny! Counting the days to Autumn, really? To be honest, I don’t blame you. I take my dogs for 2 walks during the day, but with the recent temperatures we’ve been having in Maryland, we usually do only 1 long walk in the morning. I think I do see your point of view about autumn:)
