Blizzard 2015 – Really?

blizzard20151

Well, I really thought that Maryland was going to get hit pretty bad with this storm, but we dodged the bullet, and I am so glad.  I was worried to be quiet honest, but Alex, on the other hand, was cool like a cucumber.  When I took her out, I think she was just happy to be out and did not seem to have a care in the world.

blizzard20152Aside from taking Alex for short walks, during Winter I do my best to make sure that I always have chicken soup cooked and ready for my girl.  She seems to enjoy it specially when she gets it as part of her morning and evening meal.  Don’t forget to exercise your canine companions, but please bundle up, both you and your furry kid, make the walks short, and be safe.

  1. Snow? I don’t think I’ve ever seen the stuff. Our winters are not that cold and normally I don’t even wear a jacket. Summers are pretty hot, but I love the sun and the warm water along our coast. Although it rains often in summer, it is over very quickly. I love the cool pics of Alex in the snow, though!

    • Hi Genis. You are so lucky. We envy you. Thanks for the compliment. Alex is not a big fan of snow, but I do take her out so she can stretch her legs and do her business. Have a great day.

  2. we are cold and no extra snow. Last year we had a lot more snow then we do this year. I am done with this cold weather I want summer so I can chase frogs

  3. So glad you missed the deluge of snow, here in the UK we are expected to get some tomorrow, which I’m not sure how I’m going to feel about, you see I’ve never seen snow before !! love Oscar x

    • Wow! Oscar, you are one lucky furry kid. I got to see snow for the first time here in the US when I was 14 years old. Before that, I lived in Ecuador in a tropical place called Playas. I do miss warm weather. The best to you and family.

  4. I’m glad with you and I hope Mr. Winter hasn’t another bad surprise in his pockets. Cool like a cucumber? Well done Alex :o)
