Vanna is our second foster from BARCS and a cutie pie as the above picture clearly shows.

We got Vanna last Friday and she’s done with her 2 days of acclimating to a new home, smells, routine, etc. Depending on the dog, not the breed, I determine whether or not I could start working on behavior and training and Vanna is up to the task.

Although Vanna is a great walking companion, the first thing I will target is loose leash walking so her future pet parent could enjoy walking with her. The second thing we’ll target is going up and down the steps in order to keep everyone safe. And the third one will be doors because dogs many times bolt out the door and get lost and/or hurt.
