It’s Raining Dogs

dogs1When we lived in Maryland, I thought to myself, “Wow!  There are a lot of dogs.”  Dogs always put a smile on my face, and when I realized that there seem to be even more dogs in Massachusetts,as you can imagine, I was ecstatic.

dogs2So, where did we go to see so many dogs, you are probably thinking, right? We went to Pinebank Promontory, Jamaica Pond, located in Jamaica Plain, MA. The day was beautiful, cold, but sunny.  Cynthia told me that I had the wrong place so I corrected that.  I am the kind of person that can get lost in a small parking lot of McDonald’s, which really happened to me years ago.  My sense of directions is awful.

dogs4One thing I saw and loved was pet parents keeping their dogs fit and healthy.  Not to worry, Alex did not run.  We walked with her and took breaks in order not to over do it.  She’ll turn 13 in May and Cynthia and I have to figure out what to do for her birthday.  Any ideas?

I can get anywhere, but I can never remember how to get home! An early happy birthday to the birthday girl!

Lol. Omg, you are worse than I am:-) Thanks, I will tell Alex.

  2. Sounds like you had a great day. Wonderful to know that Alex is still doing well at 13. Wonder what you will do?

Yes, we had a great day.

  3. Always a good sign at a new location. Enjoy the beautiful spring.

  4. A special birthday meal, doggy cake and a fun day spent with her humans? 🙂

Excellent idea. The doggy cake I will buy it from a store. My wife makes one for Alex every year, but it throws her tummy out of whack. I know she does it with lots of love, but this year I am buying her one. Thanks for your input:-)

Well, sort of. In Maryland, usually, by now I could wear shorts, but here in MA, not yet. It’s chilly. Why do I complain? Chicago must be worse:-)

  6. maybe she would like a visit in Maryland? :o)

If you were here, I’d hug you for saying that. Thanks:-)
