Alex loves to sunbathe regardless of what time of the year it is. You look at her and she seems to be in heaven.
Dogs with short hair like Alex tend to get cold very easy and maybe because of that they crave the sun. I was reading not too long ago about senior dogs, now one of my many favorite subjects since Alex is a senior doggie, that discussed things that senior dogs should do such as: exercise, proper diet, message, and sunbathing, to name a few. I remember a house I lived in where the entrance got all the morning sun-the dogs followed the sun throughout the house-at that time there were 4 of them-all crowded in the vestibule to soak up that sun-Jack Henry enjoys his sunbaths too-great pictures of Alex-she looks pretty content!

I know that pose well – Eko is addicted to the sun as well. I call him my sun dial because I always know where he is based on what time it is (aka where the sun is coming though my windows)
