Our Zoe, in the above picture, is showing us how to welcome and handle the upcoming festivities by… taking a nap without a care in the world.

Our Abby, cutie Beagle mix, is copying Zoe’s behavior.  Today we went to take a walk and it was busy, to say the least, with cars, people and lots of noises all around.  I took a moment after we got back home and realized how hectic our lives get during the holidays and then I looked at Abby and Zoe and saw how peaceful they slept.  I then realized that, like I say many times, dogs are amazing teachers and there are times when we need to pause and take a breather or in the case of our doggies, take a nap.

Holidays can be exhausting and joyful all at the same time.  Just remember to take some time for yourself to unwind and rest.  Take care.
